Brazil has many charms, among them some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Embark with us on this small itinerary through perfect beaches, transparent waters and sun-filled corners. Or else, you should skip past these pages right away!

Alert: The following article contains images that are likely to cause a strong desire for holidays. If you are sensitive to paradisiac beaches, it is not advisable to read the following lines. The warning has been made, so – if you want to continue – let’s travel.

First stop: the Brazilian northeast.

Ceará. With coconut trees, multi-colored dunes, urban or deserted, there are beaches for all tastes. Once here, where to start?

The Jericoacoara beach bathed by crystal clear waters, Flecheiras beach and its cozy cove, Lagoinha beach, possibly one of the most photographed spots in the area, famous for the turquoise color of the sea contrasting with the reddish dunes.

Proceed to Cumbuco beach, on the so-called Costa dos Ventos, where the waters invite you to go on boat trips or to more radical moments with surfing, windsurfing or kitesurfing.

If you visit the capital of this state, do not forget to take a dive in Praia Futuro, with a more urban scenery.

Moving on, there are Morro Branco and Canoa Quebrada beaches. Then the long sands of Rio Grande do Norte.

If you are looking for a more hidden beach, head to Itaparica Island, in Baía de Todos os Santos (literally, the Bay of All Saints), a blessed place.
