AMBASSADOR: VASCO RIBEIRO
Vasco Ribeiro was born on the 22nd of November 1994 in Cascais.
From an early age, he spent his holidays at Poça beach in Estoril where his parents ran a concession. He started surfing at the age of 7 and won his first championship at 9. At 16, he became national champion, becoming the youngest athlete ever to win a stage of the national Open surfing championship. In 2014, Vasco Ribeiro made national and international surfing history by becoming three-time national champion, European champion and world junior champion.
His biggest dream is to enter the world surfing elite and be part of the World Tour, where he already had the opportunity to compete in 2015 and reached the round's 3rd place.
