Vila Galé is opening a hotel for children in the Alentejo

Vila Galé Nep Kids is located in Beja, at Herdade do Clube de Campo

It is called Vila Galé Nep Kids, located in Beja, and is a hotel designed and built from scratch for children, where adults can only enter if accompanied by children.

With an innovative and unique concept in Portugal, where everything is aimed at the little ones, this unit has 80 family rooms in the first phase – with capacity for two adults and two children, some with bunk beds and slide -, water park with several outdoor pools, a lake with pedal boats in the shape of unicorns and swans, and Nep Island, a driving track, slide, climbing walls, trampolines, carousel, cinema and video game rooms, disco, toy library, playground, multi-sports, beach tennis, and paddle tennis courts, and decoration dedicated to children, among others.

Themed after children’s tales, in each room you can listen to a story via a QR code. And there is a strong inspiration in Nep, the Neptune that is the mascot of the Vila Galé hotels’ kids clubs, which is linked to the protection of the seas and sustainability.

Partnerships were also made with different entities such as the Beja Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Carris (public transportation company) Museum, the Portuguese Communications Foundation, the Elvas Military Museum, and the National Republican Guard, allowing Vila Galé Nep Kids to have a fire engine, an ambulance, a national guard jeep, a bus, and a tram, all in real size, for children to play, in addition to a Post Office Museum.

There is also a vast programme of daytime and evening entertainment, with activities such as modelling, painting, and textile workshops, karaoke or disco, provided by a team of experienced and dynamic entertainers.

O Vila Galé Nep Kids oferece também um restaurante, o Versátil, com carta para crianças com opções saudáveis, Carta NEP com menus infantis, pizzas e pastas, entre outras opções, e ainda o Bar Fidelio, em forma de balão de ar quente, onde as crianças têm à escolha inúmeras bebidas sem álcool como Nep Bubbles (sumo de uva frisante), mocktails Nep ou Mentiroskas de frutas; e o Motobar, junto à piscina.

Já o spa inclui piscina interior e propostas para os mais novos como a ‘Massagem da Sereia’ e ‘do Pirata’, a ‘Cafuné’ ou a ‘Pezinhos felizes’, além de propostas para desfrutar em família.

“Ter uma oferta totalmente desenvolvida a pensar nas crianças foi a prioridade no Vila Galé Nep Kids, um projeto que era um sonho que queríamos concretizar há muito tempo. A Vila Galé sempre teve um posicionamento muito focado no turismo de famílias, mas acreditamos que este hotel, que tem um conceito único e totalmente inovador, vem reforçar muito a nossa oferta para esse público e é um paraíso para os mais novos”, sublinha o presidente da Vila Galé, Jorge Rebelo de Almeida.

O Vila Galé Nep Kids mereceu um investimento de 13 milhões de euros e gerou 40 postos de trabalho. E fica no Clube de Campo Vila Galé, perto de Beja, herdade onde o grupo tem outras duas unidades: o Vila Galé Collection Monte do Vilar, um agroturismo de charme vocacionado para maiores de 16 anos, aberto desde 1 de abril; e o Vila Galé Alentejo Vineyards, um hotel dedicado ao enoturismo, olivoturismo, gastronomia e experiências gastronómicas e de enologia (provas de vinhos/formação).
