Sound Heritage Festival arrives in Elvas in March

Music, arts and heritage come together at Vila Galé Collection Elvas for a weekend of cultural celebration

Vila Galé Collection Elvas will host one of the region’s most inspiring cultural events: the Sound Heritage Festival, a celebration that brings together music, arts and heritage in a weekend dedicated to Portuguese identity, intergenerational dialogue and cultural connection between Portugal and Spain.

From 27 to 29 March, Elvas transforms into a vibrant open stage, where classical music meets jazz, fado crosses paths with flamenco, and the local community joins visitors to celebrate creativity, memory and the city’s history.

A festival designed for everyone, inviting visitors to experience Elvas in a different way—through culture.

A festival that brings together generations, styles and territories

The Sound Heritage Festival presents itself as a meeting point between generations and artistic languages, promoting cultural experiences that connect past and present. Over three days, Elvas’ historic heritage becomes the backdrop for concerts, cultural visits and moments of sharing, reinforcing the city’s role as a cultural destination of excellence.

Among the invited artists are leading names from Portuguese and Iberian music, such as Cuca Roseta, alongside musicians, performers and projects representing diverse artistic and sonic expressions.
