After climbing the 581 stairway steps, you reach the top of the Bom Jesus de Braga sacred mountain. Nowadays, it is more than a place of worship, but also of artistic and tourist interest. This sacred art monument, whose history dates back to the 14th century and was developed during the Middle Ages, has just been classified as World Cultural Heritage Site this year, in 2019.
