Fernando Alvim: The Second Inevitable Cook.
Vila Galé Ópera hosted another gastronomic cycle on March 7 with Fernando Alvim
There are encounters that cannot be explained. They simply happen.
And there are flavors that are never forgotten. They become inevitable.
It is in this spirit that Inevitable Chefs was born, a new gastronomic event series promoted by Vila Galé, bringing together two seemingly different worlds: cuisine and well-known figures from other stages, from television to music, from sports to culture, from politics to the business world. In this concept, guests reveal a more intimate and surprising side: the pleasure of cooking.
On March 7, Vila Galé Ópera hosted another edition of Inevitable Chefs, with Fernando Alvim as the special guest. An exclusive dinner, open to the public, featuring a special menu priced at €38, where cuisine, stories, and flavors came together in a unique and memorable experience.
A unique, personal and unrepeatable experience
In each edition of Inevitable Chefs, a special guest takes over the kitchen and shares stories, memories and recipes that are part of their personal journey. Based on these references, an exclusive and unrepeatable menu is created, designed for one single night.
More than just a dinner, it is a close, emotional and flavour-filled experience, always accompanied by the exclusive Santa Vitória Inevitável wine, which gives this gastronomic series its name and identity.
Open to the public by reservation and to special guests, Inevitable Chefs transforms the restaurant into a true stage for sharing, where the host is inevitably at the centre of attention, but everyone becomes part of the moment.

Inevitable Chefs welcomes Fernando Alvim in the second edition at Vila Galé Ópera
With contagious energy, Fernando Alvim brought more than recipes into the kitchen: he brought stories, good humor, and plenty of smiles, extending from the kitchen to the table. Between relaxed conversations, jokes, and shared memories, a warm and genuine atmosphere emerged, where the guest’s positive energy could be felt in every dish and every moment of the evening.
For this second edition, an exclusive menu was created with the signature of our guest and some of his gastronomic accomplices, bringing together different interpretations and flavors around the same table. The evening began with Tuna Tacos and Bacalhau à Brás by João Diogo Saloio, followed by Clam Rissoles by Bertílio Gomes, and ended with Aletria prepared by Inês Diniz and the classic Abbot’s Pudding by Miguel de Oliveira – a unique gastronomic journey created especially for this edition.
To accompany the meal, a special wine selection was curated to elevate each moment of the dinner: Santa Vitória Reserva and Val Moreira Colheita, bringing balance, character, and identity to the experience.

Reservations

Because there are invitations one simply cannot resist.
And experiences that are, quite simply, inevitable.
There are inevitable people.
And there are menus too.
