Vila Galé Salvador, located in the Ondina prime district, offers different menus that promise to please the discerning palate of guests and clients in general. The hotel has two restaurants in the same venue - Versátil and Massa Fina - with a capacity for 150 people, which are open to the public and offer varied prices, with the à la carte menu - served only during lunch - starting at R$35.00 (Brazilian Reais). In turn, dinners have a fixed price of R$65.00 per person and work as a buffet system. Prices do not include drinks.
“We are facing the sea and we are a good option for those who want to enjoy the view while having lunch or dinner in a quiet environment with no waiting lines. Our menus feature regional specialties and also notes of Portuguese and Italian food, as well as a wide selection of Santa Vitória Alentejo wines”, says José Carlos Ferreira, the hotel director.
From Monday to Friday, for lunch, you can select between the Versátil menu, which mixes regional and international traditional dishes, and the Massa Fina menu, which is made up of artisan style pizzas, salads, pastas and risottos. On Saturdays, the traditional feijoada (bean stew) is served for lunch and there is also a table with appetizers such as pork rinds, cassava, bean broth, smoothies, salads and various desserts.
On Sundays, you can delight in authentic typical Portuguese food. The buffet is varied, featuring a table of breads, soups, different salads, cheese/cold meat platters and mussel platter, seven main dishes, including two specials, Bairrada-style suckling pig and fish and seafood cataplana stew, and baked cod with onion and almonds, duck rice, breaded and fried hake, roast chicken with herbs and lemon, and side dishes. To complete your meal, eight delicious desserts are served, such as custard tart (pastel de nata), chocolate mousse, rice pudding, crème brûlée, orange roll, sericaia (egg pudding), egg white pudding and rabanada (French toast).
