Gastronomic Festival of Porto and Northern & Central Portugal at Vila Galé Collection Amazônia
Vila Galé has great news for food lovers. From April 23 to 26, Vila Galé Collection Amazônia, in Belém (PA), will host the Gastronomic Festival of Porto and Northern & Central Portugal. Tickets are available via Sympla for R$160 + a 10% service fee.
On this occasion, starters, main courses, and desserts typical of the gastronomy of Porto, Northern and Central Portugal will be served, prepared by Francisco Ferreira, Executive Chef of Vila Galé in Portugal, and Tiago Lamego, Chef at Vila Galé Collection Braga.
At the buffet, guests will be able to taste delicacies such as Bola do Douro (or Bola de Lamego), made with cured ham and pork sausage, whose origins date back to the 19th century; Abade de Priscos Pudding, an unusual dessert made with pork fat, perfectly balancing sweet and savory; and many other delights. The traditional codfish will also be featured in the dish Bacalhau à Minhota, a variation where the fish is fried and served with potatoes and peppers.
The Gastronomic Festival of Porto and Northern & Central Portugal takes place at lunch, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the experience can be purchased until April 24 directly via Sympla.
