Vila Galé Clube de Campo, a rural hotel near Beja, set in an estate with a vegetable garden, orchards and vineyards, also offers a vegetarian menu that includes ricotta ravioli gratin with Parmesan, sautéed vegetables on wild rice and coriander oil or green asparagus risotto from the vegetable garden, among other options.
Gradually, the vegetarian menu will be introduced in the remaining restaurants of the Group's hotels in Portugal, although the current general menus already include at least two vegetarian options.
“The launch of a diversified vegetarian offer is yet another way for Vila Galé to ensure that it has broad gastronomic options and experiences that meet the preferences of a growing number of clients”, explains the Group's Food and Beverages Director, Miguel Santos.
To this end, it is of note that the 20 Vila Galé hotels in Portugal have recently adopted a celiac-suitable breakfast at no additional cost for guests who have this type of food needs. More gluten-free products were also made available at lunch and dinner in the Group's restaurants.
