In order to further attract and retain the general public and guests, the Vinícius de Moraes bar at Vila Galé Rio de Janeiro is bringing out another new feature: the Sushi Lounge. The idea is to transform its venue into a Japanese restaurant every Thursday and Friday night, with an à la carte menu featuring Asian dishes such as sushi, sashimi, temakis and even sunomono, missoshiro, tataki and harumaki.
This launch completes the hotel’s range of gastronomic options, which already offers the traditional feijoada (bean stew) on Saturdays and, at night, artisan style pizzas with the restaurant Massa Fina label. On Sundays, it is the turn of the Portuguese buffet, which features a variety of typical Portuguese savory and sweet dishes.
In addition to the Japanese cuisine items, the snack and sandwich menu will also be available to suit different tastes. “We want to make our bar a meeting point for friends after work. The venue is cozy, ideal for those looking for tranquility and tailored service”, says the hotel director, Fernanda Santos.
The Vinícius de Morais bar is open from 6 pm to 10 pm and the Versátil restaurant has varied opening times: during the week, lunch is served from 12 noon to 3 pm and dinner from 7 pm to 10:30 pm (R$55.00 (Brazilian reais) + 10% service fee). On weekends, the opening hours are from 12:30 to 3:30 pm and from 7 pm to 10:30 pm (R$70.00 + 10% service fee).
