Cleanse your face naturally without dehydrating it by gently massaging coconut oil thereto, followed by a warm towel over your face for 30 seconds to open the pores and “lift” impurities. Then remove the oil with small taps with a face towel. Coconut oil is antibacterial and will soften your skin greatly. If you can, use cold, organic coconut oil as it has no toxins that can be harmful to your skin.
This exfoliant will remove impurities from your skin:
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, then apply to your face with gentle, circular motions and rinse off.
This mask is specific for dry skin:
- Half avocado, crushed
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Blend and apply to your skin. Leave for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse your face.
Avocado is rich in fatty acids that help nourish dry skin. Honey is a natural moisturizer and it is antibacterial.
The homemade recipe is known and used by many: two slices of cucumber, preferably cold, placed over the eyelids while the face mask is working.
The cucumber is rich in water, thus ensuring natural moisturizing to the skin. It also has a decongestant effect on the eye area, reducing swelling.
