The selection process was carried out in Barra de Santo António, where the 10th resort of the chain in Brazil is being built. There are 350 job openings
Vila Galé is having an open selection process to hire 350 employees to work at the new resort in Alagoas. In recent days, the HR department and the hotel management carried out a face-to-face action in the municipality of Barra de Santo António, where around 700 applicants were received. Resumes can still be submitted online.
In the action, which was held from Thursday (31/03) to Tuesday (5/04) the candidates learned about the company's policy and had the opportunity to talk individually with the recruiters.
“The face-to-face recruitment action was intended to connect the company with the local community, giving us a better opportunity to get to know people and discover talent. Besides that, we strengthened our mission, which is to respect the community where we operate. We are currently hiring 350 employees and by the end of the year we intend to reach 450”, explains the Recruitment and Selection coordinator, Marina Mendonça.
Most of the participants are from Barra de Santo António, but there were also participants from neighbouring towns, such as Paripueira and São Luís do Quitunde. The CV collection process is still going on online here. The interviews with the selected applicants are scheduled to start in the second half of April.
Opening
Vila Galé Alagoas will open on 22nd June 2022. The resort’s structure - which is the largest of the State - includes 513 rooms, seven restaurants, five bars, a 2,000 m2 convention centre, kids club, water park, 1,500 m2 swimming pool, SPA, and nightclub, among others. Bookings for stays are already available.
