The group won in the category of Tourism and Services at the Portugal Inspirador awards
Vila Galé was considered the most inspiring company in Portugal in the category of Tourism and Services at the Portugal Inspirador awards.
These awards were handed out recently and distinguish organizations and personalities that operate in national territory and that stand out for their ability to create jobs, boost the market, innovate and enhance economic development, and contribute to the national economy.
Currently, Vila Galé, the second largest Portuguese hotel group, has 37 hotels, 27 in Portugal and ten in Brazil, and about 3,750 employees in both countries.
The Portugal Inspirador award is an initiative of Santander bank, Jornal de Negócios and Correio da Manhã, in partnership with Informa DB and Accenture.
