The Vila Galé Collection Palácio dos Arcos has just inaugurated 12 new premium rooms, all with sea views, bringing the total number of units available to 88.
Set in a 15th-century palace, Vila Galé’s first five-star hotel combines historic heritage, contemporary sophistication, and literary inspiration, with references to poets such as Fernando Pessoa and Florbela Espanca. Tradition has it that King Manuel I watched the departure of the caravels to India from Palácio dos Arcos. Today, the hotel offers the same historic view, blending tradition and modernity in a truly unique setting.
The new rooms maintain an elegant, minimalist design while preserving the architectural identity of the building. In addition to overlooking the Atlantic, guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, the Satsanga Spa, the Inevitável restaurant, as well as spaces such as the library, wine cellar, and chapel.
