The Vila Galé brand is one of the most popular on social media
Vila Galé is one of the best known hotel brands among social media users, according to the recently released Marktest study “Tourism and Social Media”.
The analysis shows that Vila Galé is the second hotel chain with the highest suggested awareness among the 16 chains considered.
The study evaluates the influence that social networks have on the tourism choices of Portuguese people aged between 25 and 64 who live in mainland Portugal and use social networks.
It also concluded that Instagram and Facebook are the social networks with the most influence on the choice of tourist destinations.
Vila Galé currently has 547,000 followers on Instagram and 218,000 on Facebook, as well as 99,000 on LinkedIn.
