Initially thought out with only one typical Portuguese dish, soon this initiative became larger and continued. We are talking about the new Vila Galé culinary initiative, entitled “12 Months 12 Dishes”.
Aiming at putting the extremely rich Portuguese cuisine to the test, Vila Galé devised a program where every month we highlight a different regional dish - otherwise only available in the hotels that are located in those regions - in all Vila Galé four-star hotels in Portugal.
According to Miguel Santos, the Portugal Food and Beverage Manager of Vila Galé, "this initiative reflects the Group’s commitment to differentiating gastronomic concepts and aims to bring the Portuguese regional products to customers".
Experience our speciality for the month of August: Fried Alheira sausage with sprouts
This gastronomic experience is €10 per person (without drinks) and is available for lunch and dinner.
- August: Fried alheira sausage with sprouts;
- September: Cuttlefish and beans stew;
- October: Fava beans with entrecote
- November: Madeira tuna steak
- December: Bacalhau à Brás (Cod à la Brás).
